Futaleufu Rafting, Carretera Austral

The Futaleufu River is world renowned for its white water rapids for kayaking and rafting, often being the location for world championships etc. After a bit of convincing by Hadleigh, I agreed to do a rafting trip including some Grad V rapids. What an adrenanline kick it turned out to be, especially when our boat got flipped on a huge water roll. Thankfully the tour company was amazing and the rescue kayaks had collected everybody out of the water in no time. This was sadly our last stop on the Carretera Austral. An epic road trip adventure overall, but of course nothing ever goes off without a hitch, so on our journey to return the car, we ended up having a flat tire. Thankfully it happened not far aways from a town, so we were able to get it repaired with only a couple of hours delay to our journey.
