Perito Moreno Glacier and El Calafate

Next up was a visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier near El Calafate. This Glacier is part of the southern patagonian icefield, the 3rd biggest mass of ice in the world behind Antarctica and Greenland. It is an impressive sight to behold! We got to hike onto the ice and view it from the boardwalks as well. As we were on the boardwalks we saw some massive condors swooping super low over our heads. As I grabbed my camera and started to take photos, the screen blinked at me: "Memory full". Perfect timing... so unfortunately I didnt get the perfect/sharp condor shot, but it was a jawdropping experience nontheless.
In El Calafate we tried some of the famous patagonian lamb, barbequed over an open fire, and played with the many friendly dogs around.
